Warranty
I called and asked about an issue with a newly purchased crossbow, specifically the XP400, and was wondering if the discrepancy is covered by the warranty. The upper left limb has somehow peeled back fibers, greatly diminishing the integrity of the weapon system.
Sadly, i cannot attach a picture other than in the review section but the representative said it could take it to my local shop. Which I will do today or tomorrow as it is the last day for archery. The blemish begins, again, on the upper left limb starting an inch before the "B" in barnett and peels all the way down past the "T", creating a large trenched gouge through the entirety of the peeling.
I have not dropped, bumped, or been rough in any way and have only owned just over a month. Only firing to sight in the optic.

Resolved: Crank cocking device problem
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I was about ready to leave for the courthouse to file a small claims case against Barnett Outdoors and UPS drove up.
I received a replacement unit of a different design. I wonder why. Their Customer Service is either backed up with problems units or they are working with a skeleton crew as C.S.
is extremely slow to respond. I first contacted them on 11/29/23 and I received the replacement on 12/10/23.
If I purchase another crossbow there is a 25% chance I'll choose Barnett
The strings at one end are attached to a spool in the stock and the other end goes through the pulley on the device and back to an anchor point on the stock. One string is longer by about 1/4 inch which causes the bracket that pulls the bow string back to be crooked and it rubs against the arrow rail. I reported this to Barnett and they said they'd send a replacement right away.
They never sent me a tracking number, I sent them three E-mails and no response. I'm going to have to go to small claims against them.
